Nowadays, it is truly difficult to maintain a better and improved work-life balance due to our very hectic work schedule.

Regardless of how much we wanted to spend more time with ourselves and loved ones, we still find it hard and challenging to get a good balance life since we keep on prioritizing our career rather than our personal needs.

Yes, we all wanted to achieve our #careergoals and #wealthgoals, however, unbalanced life leads to a poor health condition and unhappy life.

Although we are earning a lot from our job and chosen career, many people are still suffering from anxiety and exhaustion because of poor work-life balance.

In other words, money will not make us happy and healthy. Yes, we need this to survive, but you cannot enjoy your money if you are sick and or suffering from severe level of stress and unhappiness.

That being said, if you want to avoid hating your job and be mad with everyone since you are always being attacked by stress, here are some effective tips to consider for better and improved work-life balance:

1. Determine and set your priorities.Work-Life Balance

Ask yourself what is the main thing that you like to focus on. Yes, we could consider everything as our main priority, however, this time, you should ensure that your answer will depend on how much you needed this thing in your life.

After determining your main priority, look for your second, third, fourth, and fifth priority then set it straight maybe thru writing it in a sticky note so you can always see it or by saving it to your phone or laptop.

2. Do the proper time management.

Time management is the key for you to achieve a better and improved work-life balance. So for you to perfect this task, make sure to give each of your priorities attainable and doable target deadlines so you can better use your time in a more productive way.

For an instance, if you are spending 3 hours doing your daily tasks at the office, try to do it for only 1 hour and 30 minutes so you can push yourself to become more focused and productive.

Also, if you can target each of these deadlines, you can expect that you can spend more time dealing with other important things in your life such as your passion and time with your loved ones.

3. Maintain a healthy lifestyle.

No matter how busy you are, it is more right and just to give yourself a time to workout and eat healthy meals every day since this will fuel your body and mind to work more effectively at your job.

So every morning, make sure that you will exercise for at least 30 minutes. To avoid rushing your morning routine, set your alarm 1 hour earlier than your normal wake up call so you can start your day with a good cup of coffee and refreshed feeling.

4. Pamper yourself every two weeks.

Get a good massage, foot spa, hair treatment, haircut, or whatever that will make you feel more relaxed every two weeks to eliminate all your stress and negativities.

You can also pamper yourself by simply reading your favorite book or watching your most loved TV series all by yourself while eating your comfort food.

Simple things like this will really help in keeping a better and improved work-life balance. So don’t worry about spending too much money just to pamper yourself because the truth is, you only need an alone time doing your favorite stuff.

All in all, keeping a work-life balance will give you a chance to work things out perfectly without jeopardizing anything. So do this now to eliminate stress on both sides of your life.
